Ģirts Rozentāls or Ozols is one of the founders of Latvian hip-hop music. Started musical activity in 1996 as part of the groups "Fact" and "Rool Makaz". He started his solo career at the beginning of the last decade with the debut single "Neko 2005" (2000), which was followed by the albums "Cieņa un mīlestība" (2001), "Augstāk, tālāk, stiprāk" (2002), "Dūzis" (2003) and in 2009 released album "Independence". After a break of several years, Ozols returned to Latvian music in 2015 with his fifth studio album "Back to the Future". During his creative activity, Ozols has performed at the Latvian Song and Dance Festival with the combined choir, with the association "Austrumubloks" he visited ex-president Vaira Vīķes-Freiberga, achieved the status of a Golden Disc with the albums "Cieņa un mīlestība" and "Augstāk, tālāk, stiprāk", has received The Record of the Year Award eight times.
