Today we opened the first competition day of 22nd International Ice Sculpture Festival. Throughout the day, professional sculptors from seven countries, creatively interpreting this year's festival theme "Superheroes," created 30 unique individual ice sculptures.

From 7 to 9 February, meet your favourite superheroes at Jelgava, the largest ice sculpture festival in the Baltics!

The meeting place - Pasta Island, J. Čakstes Boulevard and the open-air concert hall “Mītava”.

International Ice Sculpture festival is organised by Jelgava City, Establishment "Kultūra" and friends of the festival.
